Account control

Delete your account

Core guest translation does not require an account. You can permanently delete an email, Apple, or Google-linked TalkieTalkie account.

Delete inside the app

  1. Open TalkieTalkie and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open Settings, then Account.
  3. Choose Delete Account.
  4. Review the consequences, confirm the account email if requested, and complete reauthentication.

Successful deletion signs the account out and should remove its active TalkieTalkie sessions.

If you cannot use the app

Email support@talkietalkie.us from the email address associated with the account and use the subject “TalkieTalkie account deletion request.” If you used Apple Hide My Email, send the request from the Apple private-relay address or be prepared to complete another secure verification step.

For your protection, support will verify control of the account before deleting it. Do not send a password, verification code, Apple or Google token, identity document, or payment information by email.

What deletion removes

Account deletion removes or de-identifies the TalkieTalkie account profile, email or username association, password credential, active sessions, linked Apple or Google sign-in relationship held by TalkieTalkie, email-verification state, and supported preferences retained with the account.

Local guest preferences, downloaded language resources, or files stored only on your phone may remain until you reset them or delete the app. Deleting the TalkieTalkie account does not automatically delete an Apple ID, Google account, iCloud data managed by Apple, or information an advertising or map provider controls under its own account and policy.

Limited retention

We may retain minimal security, fraud-prevention, transaction, or legal-compliance records when required or permitted by law. These records are restricted to that purpose and are not used to restore the deleted account or its preferences.

Using TalkieTalkie afterward

You can continue using internet-free translation services as a guest after account deletion. If you later create another account, it is treated as a new account and previously deleted preferences may not be recoverable.
